Ed Tarrabain

Ed graduated with Honours from the University of Lancaster in 2017 before embarking on his legal career in northern Alberta. There, he specialized in criminal defense and family law, attending court regularly to hone his advocacy skills. After being called to the Alberta Bar in 2019, he spent two years at boutique law firms in the region.

In 2020, Ed relocated to Edmonton, where he became known as the firm’s litigation specialist, focusing on high-conflict family law. During his tenure, he made significant contributions, setting legal precedents and earning nominations for Best Lawyers Canada’s “Ones to Watch” in 2023 and 2024.

In pursuit of his vision, Ed founded Tarrabain & Tarrabain in 2024, with offices in both Edmonton and Calgary. Specializing in family law, residential real estate, and family estate matters, the firm is dedicated to providing excellent advocacy and representation. Its name reflects Ed’s personal journey, paying tribute to his parents’ separation during his childhood.
